What is your return policy?
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused and in their original packaging; We do not accept returns on used or tested products.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, as they're paid directly to the carrier.

We can only process returns for orders placed directly on cantobrazil.com. If you purchased through another retailer, please contact that retailer directly.

Limited editions are final sale, as noted on their product pages, and are not eligible for return or exchange.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?
To start a return or exchange within the United States, email us with your order number. No questions asked.

Do you use AI at Canto Brazil?

We do, in a few specific places. English is a second language, and we use AI to help refine the writing in our product descriptions and newsletters, so what we say comes across the way we actually mean it. We also use AI to retouch the photography on our site, always with care that the product shown is exactly the product you receive; AI adjusts things like lighting, background, and setting, never the product itself.

We're a small business, and we'd rather put our time and resources into the product itself: the formulas, the materials, the work that ends up in the shape of product. Some of what a shoot would call for, specific Brazilian materials, textures, and settings, isn't always easy to access from where we work. AI helps close that gap without pulling focus from where it matters most.

None of this comes from a lack of respect and admiration for what writers, editors, and photographers do. It comes from where we've chosen to put our resources at this stage.

There's one thing AI has never been able to do, and never will: know what actually smells or feels right. That judgment, on every material and every formula, is entirely ours.

Are Canto Brazil products phthalate- and paraben-free?

Yes. Every Canto Brazil product is free of phthalates and parabens.

Are the fragrances used in Canto Brazil products natural?
Our fragrances are composed of essential oils and synthetic isolates derived from natural sources. All formulas meet EU IFRA and RIFM safety standards, are suitable for sensitive skin, and are free of parabens and phthalates. We work with suppliers from Brazil, Dubai, China and New Zealand.
