Repouso means rest, a pause built into stone.
Cast from hydrostone and finished by hand, this tray is built to hold fire safely: a candle jar, incense cones, a bundle of sage, a stick of palo santo. The corner hole lets a stick of incense stand upright. The wide, flat surface catches ash and holds heat from anything else you choose to burn. Over time, burning directly on the stone leaves its own trace: soft scorch marks, faint rings, a deepening of color exactly where the flame sat. The tray is meant to carry that history, not hide it.
Raw and matte, closer to riverbed than tabletop. Every piece carries its own grain, and every use adds to it. Set it on an altar, a nightstand, a shelf by the door. Anywhere the day is allowed to slow down.
